Thanks to a strong ridge lantern has less bars than other lanterns and with a host of clip-on features there are no visible fixings. All our lanterns feature 24mm double-glazed units equipped with a self-cleaning coating, argon gas filling, and a stylish black warm edge spacer bar.

Consider solar heat reflection and light transmission as managing particles
Solar Heat Reflection
Diverts heat particles, keeping the room cooler. Opt for a higher percentage for a cooler space.
Light Transmission: Allows light particles to enter, brightening the room. Choose a higher percentage for a brighter space.
For a north-facing Roof Lantern:
Opt for clear glazing to maximise light and warmth, as it receives less direct sunlight.
For a south-facing Roof Lantern:
Select glass with a higher solar heat reflection percentage to regulate solar heat and prevent overheating.
Note that achieving 100% of both is not feasible. A higher solar heat reflection reduces light transmission. Base your decision on your customer's preferences and the lantern's orientation. Higher solar heat reflection provides better control over room ambience during fluctuations in seasonal temperatures.
