Door canopies have been a feature of British homes since the 18th century when a simple hood would be used over the door to prevent water entering the building. Over the years the construction of canopies developed and by the end of the 19th century canopies constructed from timber lattice work became popular. The Victorian and Edwardian eras saw the arrival of more elaborate designs such as gables or steep pitched canopies.

With many options we have a GRP roof canopy to suit all house styles and customer tastes. If you are looking for a tiled gable canopy, the Cottage, Kensington or Tudor designs are the ones for you from our President range, or the Carisbrooke or Cheltenham from our Senator range. Other sloping or flat roof designs include the Clarendon, Countess, Duchess, Princess, Royale and Windsor canopies in the President range, or Warwick, Ripley, Stafford, Rockingham, Elsdon, Ilkley, Castledene, Sherbourne, Berkley or Tamworth canopies in the Senator range. The most versatile of all the models is the System 2000, which, apart from a door canopy, can be utilised as a carport, patio awning or smoking shelter, due to its cantilever design. The Bay Window and Porch Canopies can be used in conjunction with our energy efficient pvcu windows and doors to create a stunning finish to your home.
