At this time of year as the night time and daytime temperatures are wide apart, we get a number of calls concerning condensation on the outside of our A and C rated windows. This is a good thing to see as it means that the windows are functioning correctly.
The reason why the condensation occurs is due to the complete lack of inside heat being transferred from the inner to outer pane of glass. The condensation is the same as you would find on your car windscreen, and will clear as the day progr....

Yes is the answer to that question. There is no earthly point us advertising the very considerable merits of our BFRC approved windows with their C and A energy rating if we don't make them! Since we also advertise over a large postcode area, such as GL, CV,WR and OX, we are very happy for our potential customers to come and have a look at the factory in action from the comfort and safety of our inward facing upstairs windows. This reduces the insulating properties of your glass unit to zero!
Prior Products can help here, as we can replace almost any unit fitted to a uPVC window or door. The manufacturer does not matter - all th....

Having some time off work this week to travel around England and Wales has been rather interesting! Ok, I managed to track down the bike I have been after for thirty years, but the window industry is never far away from my thoughts.
I was sat having a cuppa in the OX7 part of Banbury and skimmed through the local rags as you do, and was amazed that none of the advertisers for windows etc were BFRC rated. Ok, this will not mean much to anyone thinking of replacing their windows - until next m....
