Our window hinges fall into three categories, depending on where in the house the window is situated. A standard hinge is just that - a cantilever hinge in stainless steel. For bedrooms there are two options - fire escape and easyclean.
The standard fire escape allows the opener to swing round to 90 degrees, allowing easy access for escape. The easyclean hinge also does this, but has the added advantage of being able to move the entire sash into the open position by pressinf two buttons. When these are pressed, the sash can be moved into the centre of the opening allowing easy window cleaning from inside the house. Both sides can be cleaned in this way.
