We get a number of calls each week at this time of year regarding condensation on the outside panes of glass on our 'A' rated windows. This is not a fault with the window - quite the reverse! Because these windows transmit barely any heat from the inside of your house to the outside, the outer pane mists up when weather conditions are right.

Many thanks for the comments relating to companies offering energy rated windows. It is precisely the fact that some companies offer a sub standard window that the blog post was created, along with the link to the BFRC website.
By viewing this site, our customers can see that what they are getting is the real article. The windows have been tested in accordance with the BFRC regulations and have passed. The other point that these windows are a long term investment is true, and they will over the....

Another way of being certain that all is well with your rated window is to go onto the....

When planning how you would like your new conservatory to look, there are some things that need to be taken into consideration. Which way will your conservatory face? If it is south facing, you will need to think carefully about the type of roof you have on it. Heatguard polycarbonate is a good option as it reflects the sun and heat away, as is blue antisun if a glass roof is to be used
Other factors to be thought about could be whether you are likely to be overlooked by neighbours. Various opt....

If you have plenty of garden space and fancy enclosing a large chunk of it, our P shaped or T shaped conservatories are ideal. With the much larger floor area and higher roof there is a feeling of spaciousness and airiness not found on the smaller conservatory.
The Lantern style with its high two tiered roof is popular for swimming pool enclosures. Another popular choice for the larger conservatory is the Gable ended. With a fully glazed front facade and higher roof, these are ideal for those w....
